Sweet Sleep

I just wanted to tell everyone that I slept last night-not a long time--but long enough.

Debbie, I am so glad that you are writing this blog. I just wanted to share with you a few times we spent with Jason. Kades first Halloween was spent over at Shawnee at a horse show. Jason was there and holding him and playing with him. After a bit of playing I took Kade to feed him, which then lead to a burp. Well Kade liked to yell at me when I took his bottle away... so in turn since we were at a show I put his passy in his mouth. Now when I did this Jason turned to my mom and said now how is she goin to get him to burp with that thing in his mouth, which about that time Kade ripped one! Well you just have to know that we laughed so hard at this. :) The last time I spent time hanging out with Jason was at the lake. It was Jason, Kirby, Derek and myself there. Earlier that day Kade had been down as well, but left with my mom, before that Kade was throwin him a fit for a bath. Well Jason just thought it was the funniest thing, because Kade was all about my mother. Wouldn't talk to anyone else, was yelling for her and only wanted his grandma. So meanwhile Jason and I were working on our dinner. He made the best pork that night. So we are sittin around and Kade's still showing off for him and he starting laughin he said go ahead Kasey have you another one...little did he or I know that I was pregnant with Parker! :) That evening we sat out on the porch and talked all night well into the early morning. We shared memories from highschool, he was much older in school than I but when you grow up in a small town you know many of the same people. We laughed, spoke of friends from school, played spades and just had a great time. It was a great evening and Jason was just full of life. Derek had never met him before, so he just had a great time with him and Kirb. Next day we played on the waverunners, and boats, Kirby lost his keys it was quite the day. We really enjoyed Jason. The last time we saw him was over at the mall, we ran into him when we were shopping. He had the biggest smile on his face as we all stopped and spoke for a minute. We all loved Jason, like a member of our own family. Jason loved the lake, and especially driving that deck boat! He also enjoyed riding the Harley which was quite an event and the mower (ask mom abou that) hahaha we have never laughed so hard. He was a great man! I know your heart is hurting, but one day we will know just how lucky he is to be where he now is. Forever watching over you. I hope these fun times we shared with Jason may give you some extra memories of your sweet baby! Forever watching over you. Love you - Kasey (Hillerman) Dean

Kasey,
I appreciate so much your comments. Jason told me several times that you had a perfect kid. He was so impressed at how your dad
acted around him. I know he left a little love and laughter with many of his friends, and this blogspot is letting me hear about those times. Thank you so much.
